Turkish Dishes: Kazandibi (Pot-Bottom Dessert)

It's Turkish Dessert time again! Another milky treat.

Kazandibi

Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes

What you will need:
4 glass of milk
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup of water
1 cup rice powder
1/2 cup rose water
2 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 tablespoon sugar


How to prepare:
Mix rose water, rice flour and water in a deep container. In a separate container, sugar and milk needs to be mixed and boiled.  After that,  you need to add the mixture of rosewater and rice flour in to the milk. Mixture needs to be stirred for about 15 minutes. Add the butter into the mixture. Boil and  let the mixture cool down.

Pour the sugar into the oiled tray. Pour into the tray the prepared mixture. In medium heat , let the mixture cook until you get the burnt smell. Lastly, leave the tray, allow it to cool down in a cold water in a bigger container.  Using your spatula, remove the  kazandibi from the tray. Serve with cinnamon.
