I love this dish but i cannot eat without garlic-yogurt. It is one of the meals that I like to eat cold.
Preparation duration:15 minutes
Cooking duration: 20 minutes
What you will need:
1 kg spinach ( I prefer frozen ones but you can opt for fresh spinach)
1 cup yogurt, whipped
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
1/2 cup olive oil
1 table spoon salt
1/2 cup rice, rinsed
1 medium size onion, chopped
1 cup hot water

What you will need:

1 medium size onion, chopped
1 cup hot water
How to cook
- Add chopped onion into the hot pan with olive oil
- After onions turn pinkish, you can add red pepper paste or tomato paste into the pan.
- You can now add spinach into the pan for 10 minutes and then add the rice, hot water and salt.Please note that if you buy fresh spinach , you need to wash in cold water before you can proceed.
- Serve the dish with garlic and yogurt.

PS: (from Pinay) This received a lot of weird look from the Pinoy uncle and aunt - it's Popeye's food - toot toot alright but it's really tastes good. A must try. Tastes good and healthy too.
PPS: And the dish has rice, what more could I ask for?
