Sutlac always reminds me my childhood. I used to have two cups of sutlac a day sometimes. Those were the carefree days. Hope you enjoy this dessert as much as I did. - Cihangir
For this dish , you will need:
a half cup of rice (which should be washed)
1 liter milk
2 cups of water
3 table spoon rice flour
half cup sugar , add more to make it sweeter
1 table spoon vanilla
After washing rice, boil it until they turn soft. Add the cold milk ,and mix rice flour with warmer water in a separate cup. Add in to the mixture the vanilla and sugar. Keep stirring the mixture until it thickens.
When the mixture gets homogeneous, pour in to the serving bowl and let them cool in the room temparature.
Served with cinnamon.
