Dining Out in Doha: The Noodle House

The restaurant is very difficult to miss - it's right by the entrance of City Centre and in front of the Hippopotamus Steak House.  We tried this place like eons ago and didn't come back since then. It was a good experience but the place is definitely not kids-friendly.

The kids enjoy the sizzling ice cream though. But that's about it. There is really nothing special about the food. It was all about the ambiance and its strategic location. There's also nothing special about the customer service - it was ordinary if not bad.

Learning to use his chopsticks!

taking a second look

so how to I use this again?

her Asian look and her Asian grin/ sarcasm - Where is the food?

He loved his noodles!

yummy but expensive

Yummy Corn Soup - there was that authentic Chinese taste!

SIZZLING ICE CREAM!

There has to be other places in Doha with good Chinese food for fine dining. We'll keep looking.

Dining Out in Doha: Attila's Mongolian

We consider Attila's Mongolian the most "classy" food in Doha mall food courts. We still find this place so convenient every time we get stuck in malls starving. There is Attila's Restaurant in Villagio Mall and City Centre. We just love to choose our food - vegetables, meat, seafood, noodles and spices - and watch the staff cook it for us. The kids love to hit the gong at Villagio Mall food court.

Although I must admit that it is not really the same Mongolian back home in Asian. But living in Doha for a half a decade, we are in terms to accept this Attila's Mongolian Grill a close second to the real thing!

While waiting for his food to cook!

the Turknoys love Asian food - duh!

GONG!

Dining Out in Doha: PQ

WHAT'S HAPPENING? Qatar has been noted the fastest country in the world and then next we heard the news that PQ was already closed! PQ in Villagio Mall for us is the healthiest restaurant all over Doha. We go here every now and then to eat healthy organic delectable meal or just buy their organic bread for breakfast. A refreshing healthy treat from all the fast food and other junk meals we have been indulging our family when we dine out in Doha.

I suppose we have to be on a look out for other healthy options all around town.

Bye PQ in Qatar! Hope you have plans to come back in other branches. I refuse to believe that this restaurant will be closing out for good in this part of the world.  Big shame!

enjoying avocado juice!

we are definitely going to miss their tasty organic bread!

our favorite is their organic lentil soup!

chicken dish at reasonable price!
